Some good sounding Southern tracks that I've noticed were, for example: "Drink in My Cup" - Kirko Bangz or "Differences" - Rich Home Quan. "I'm Different" is suppose to have that West Coast sound and they still didn't get the production right because the bass is anemic. The bass is sh!tty and his voice is louder than everything. Pull up a track like 2Chainz's "Birthday" or "I'm Different". Toomp produced a classic and it was one of the first times I recall the sawtooth synth sound but ni99as went nuts with it and sound quality went south from there. I think it started going down hill after T.I.'s "What You Know About That". it was pretty much standard and good production. From the Outkasts, 8balls, Scarfaces, Lil Jons, etc. I definitely didn't say all Southern rap either. A brand new track shouldn't sound like someone took a microphone and recording it from the back side of a rattling trunk.
